Repairs on Wheels for the Elderly 

This service provides minor home repairs for low and moderate-income elderly homeowners age 55 and older in Jefferson Parish.  Labor is free, but the cost of materials is the responsibility of the homeowner. Services include fixing doors, windows, locks, minor plumbing repairs, and minor electrical repairs. The goal is to help elderly citizens remain at home by providing minor maintenance. The program is operated by Volunteers of America (VOA) and funded by Community Development.  Contact: VOA at (504) 245-1145
