Starting the week of March
29th, the Wagner Branch Library will be in the midst of renovation. The library will not be closed during the
renovation. There will be some new shelving
in the Children’s section which will allow us to expand our collection to
better suit our patrons. We will be
getting brand new Audio/Visual shelving.
This shelving will store up to 2000 DVD titles. We are currently getting
new DVD titles in every day. And we will
be expanding our books on CD collection.
We will have a new Teen area which will allow us to expand our teen and
comic book collection. There will be a flat screen TV monitor which will show
information on upcoming programs at the Wagner Library and it will also scroll
National and International news headlines.
Once the renovations are complete, there will be a Grand Opening
ceremony. The date for this ceremony will be announced. Check your web site and the newspapers!

Information and Pictures, Lost and Found, Festival, Fair and To-dos

so please be sure to scroll down the entire page to find all the information that
is available .
We
need your participation to help keep the site current and informative. Please recommend your neighbor for acts of
kindness, report functions of interests to us all and participate in the
different contests occurring during the year sponsored by the Beautification

ZONING
& VARIANCE TASK FORCE
The need for a watchdog committee prompted the BCA Board to form the Zoning and Variance Task Force. This committee's main function is to help keep an eye on applications to the Jefferson Parish Planning Advisory Board and applications for variance changes in the neighborhood. The committee is also monitoring the Road Home properties in our subdivision and their compliance to the regulations.
