Mission Statement: To improve our quality of life in Bissonet Plaza and to encourage our neighbors to take pride in our subdivision.
If you would like to be instrumental in improving our quality of life or just want to get involved in beautification we invite you to join our committee.
We also need 2 to 4 people to help judge the "Garden of the Month' on the east side of the Elmwood Canal. The Streets are Academy, Purdue, Tartan and Bissonet, between W. Esplande and W. Canal Avenue. We judge between the 15th and 20TH of each month.

"Times Picayune Free Advertiser"
It has been brought to our attention by one of our Bissonet neighbors that the “Times Picayune Free Advertiser” that is delivered to our homes on Wednesdays and Saturdays is causing unwanted litter in our subdivision.
The Times Picayune Free Advertiser is delivered to all homes that do not receive the Times Picayune Daily Newspaper. It seems most of our neighbors either read the Advertiser or throw it away however, some of our residents just leave it out collecting in their front yards creating litter.
In an effort to make Bissonet a “LITTER FREE COMMUNITY” we are asking all residents who do not want the Advertiser delivered to their homes to please take a minute to call the Times Picayune and cancel the delivery. Their number is 822-6660, extension #0.
